Who killed Obi-Wan?
Obi-Wan Kenobi's six-episode story revealed that several years before he met his end at the hands of Darth Vader in A New Hope, Obi-Wan embarked on a perilous rescue mission.
He says what we wanted him to say: “Hello there.” It's a small line to obsess over, and surely it was never meant to win over the internet as it has. But its meaning to fans makes it just as perfect a greeting for Luke—and ending for us—in Obi-Wan Kenobi as it was in A New Hope.
Regarding Obi-Wan's self-sacrifice on the Death Star, he let himself be killed--"If you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine"--because he knew that he had been deemed worth by the Force, the priestesses, and Qui-Gon.
Visions of Obi-Wan. The comic opens during the last moments of Revenge of the Sith, recreating the well-memed instance when a despondent, freshly-armored Vader cries out with a drawling “nooooooo” over how much he's lost.
Vader responded “I am not your failure, Obi-Wan. You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker. I did.” This allows Obi-Wan to finally accept that Anakin is truly gone and that there was nothing he could have realistically done to save him.
“I am not your failure, Obi-Wan. You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker. I did. The same way, I will destroy you!”
He died of old age on Dagobah. Fans of Jedi Master Yoda likely know that he retains much of his power even after passing into the Living Force.
Legend had it that Yoda—a Jedi who became Grand Master—was trained by N'Kata Del Gormo. A Force-sensitive Hysalrian, N'Kata Del Gormo was trained in the ways of the Force and achieved the rank of Master within the Jedi Order.
Anakin Skywalker, in one last digged-effort, before his imprisonment as Darth Vader for the next 23 years, cries out for help. He yearns for his beloved Padme, with the words, “Padme, help me.”
“If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.”
What were Anakin's last words to Luke?
#TriviaTuesday – Question: What were Anakin's last words to Luke Skywalker before his death? "Tell your sister, you were right."
Obi-Wan Kenobi cast Flea
But this was no Californication: the musician is actually in the show. Flea plays a character named Vect Nokru, a bounty hunter hired by Reva (Moses Ingram) to kidnap a young Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) in order to lure Obi-Wan out of hiding.
Between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan, it's pretty clear that Vader is far more powerful with the force. After all, he pretty easily used the force to stop a starship from taking off in the previous episode, and manhandled Kenobi throughout the majority of the show.
Because he realized he had actually won. Luke and Leia had been reunited, and Artoo was still safe.
Affiliation(s) During the Imperial Era, a human female nurse served the Galactic Empire on board the Death Star under the supervision of a doctor. They both served the Sith Lord Darth Vader as his personal medical caretakers. The nurse became obsessed and psychotically in love with the Dark Lord of the Sith.
Eventually, he lost both his legs and his remaining arm in the climactic duel on Mustafar between both he and Obi-Wan. As Vader, he had each limb replaced with cybernetic parts, but would lose his robotic right arm one last time when Luke Skywalker faced his father in Return of the Jedi.
One of the most iconic lines in the entire franchise (and in movie history), is "May the Force be with you." But there are many more lines throughout the 130+ hours of Star Wars content, and these are some of the best, broken down by which movie or TV show they appear in.
"Nothing can stop that now. Just for once... let me... look on you with my own eyes." Darth Vader's last words before his unmasking, in reference to his death.
I do not fear the dark side as you do. I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire.
In Star Wars Canon, only Luke Skywalker can be acknowledged as the one who truly defeated Darth Vader.
Why did Obi-Wan leave Vader alive?
The Revenge of the Sith novelization explains that Obi-Wan left Vader to sizzle on Mustafar for a few reasons: He sensed Palpatine approaching and wanted to make himself (and the pregnant Padmé) scarce; he “would not murder a helpless man;” and he trusted in “the will of the Force” to decide Vader's fate for him.
He calls him “Darth” even though that name was since turned into an honorific Sith title. Now we know why. After Vader actually takes some responsibility and says that he himself killed Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan responds, “Then my friend is truly dead… Darth.” For Kenobi, Anakin no longer exists.
Though seemingly killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi at the end of the film, Darth Maul returned in the 2008 computer animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars (voiced by Sam Witwer).
Mace seemed to defeat Sidious and raised his lightsaber to strike down the Sith Lord, but a desperate Anakin ignited his own weapon and severed Mace's forearm. Sidious then blasted Mace with Force lightning, sending the great Jedi champion plummeting to his death.
In other words, it was already established that Yoda had two lightsabers, and that there was one with him on Dagobah even after one was presumably destroyed by Sidious.
